  • What flow rates can the A Series handle, and how precise is the adjustment?
    • The A30 operates up to 30 gallons per hour with a true 10:1 turndown ratio.
    • Flow is adjusted using a micrometer-style percent knob with ½% increments for precise, repeatable settings.
    • The knob adjusts pump stroke length and maintains a predictable output relationship.
    • Steady state accuracy is ±2% of full capacity across the turndown range.
  • What products can I inject with the A Series?
    • Designed for liquid fertilizers, crop protection products, wetting agents, and compatible liquid soil amendments.
    • Slurries or non-soluble products require a slurry-ready configuration with upgraded internal components.
  • How does the A Series ensure even distribution?
    • Operates at 185 strokes per minute, producing evenly spaced injection pulses.
    • Uses the Mister Mist’r® injection quill for immediate dispersion.
    • Additional mixing occurs through system piping and irrigation components.
    • Over 43 years of field use with no documented distribution issues when properly installed.
  • Can I adjust the injection rate while the pump is running?
    • Yes. The micrometer-style knob allows smooth, real-time adjustments.
    • No need to stop the pump or use tools.
    • Provides more precise control than many competing systems.
  • What suction hose size should I use?
    • Always use the recommended size or larger—never smaller.
    • Proper sizing ensures correct NPSH, consistent flow, and long pump life.
    • Undersized hoses can cause cavitation, poor priming, and damage.
  • Is the A Series available in 12 VDC?
    • Yes, along with multiple AC voltage options.
    • 12 VDC systems are typically powered by engine-driven alternators.
    • Output may vary slightly due to voltage fluctuations.
  • Why doesn’t the system include a plug or suction hose?
    • Electrical and plumbing needs vary by installation.
    • Allows installers to select the correct components for their setup.
    • Avoids one-size-fits-all limitations.
  • What maintenance is required?
    • Annual maintenance and proper winterization are strongly recommended.
    • Helps prevent freezing damage, corrosion, and premature wear.
    • Reduces likelihood of major repairs.
  • Can I order special configurations online?
    • No. Acid-ready and slurry-ready systems must be ordered directly.
    • These require specific materials and configuration for safe operation.
  • Is the A Series limited to center-pivot systems?
    • No. Also suitable for:
      • Linear move systems
      • Drip irrigation
      • Solid-set systems
      • Greenhouses
      • Other pressurized irrigation setups
  • Where can I find installation and operating requirements?
    • All details are in the MacRoy A Fertigation System Operating Manual.
    • Must be reviewed before installation or operation.
  • What warranty comes with the A30?
    • Coverage varies by component and is defined in the manual.
    • Pump drive components have multi-year coverage under normal use.
    • Motors are typically covered for one year by the manufacturer.
    • Improper use or installation may void warranty.
  • Do I need to read the operating manual?
    • Yes. It includes critical information on:
      • Pressure limits
      • Suction requirements
      • Electrical setup
      • Calibration and safety
    • Many issues stem from skipping steps outlined in the manual.
  • What is included in the startup kit?
    • Ships in a branded drawstring bag.
    • May include:
      • Safety glasses and gloves
      • Reference materials
      • Basic tools and supplies
      • Custom oil funnel
      • ApplyYourself® app information
    • Designed to support safe setup and long-term operation.

Quick Start Overview
This overview is intended to help operators understand the basic startup flow of the mRoy AP/B systems. It is not a substitute for the Agri-Inject Operating Manual. Always refer to the Operating Manual for complete installation, safety, calibration, and operating instructions.

Before starting, confirm that the system is properly mounted and secured, the Mister Mist’r® injection quill and discharge plumbing are correctly installed, and all required safety devices and interlocks are in place. Ensure the irrigation system is operating normally and fully pressurized before turning the injection pump on.

Prime the pump according to the Operating Manual to remove air from the suction and discharge lines. Once primed, set the pump output using the adjustment knob, based on the desired application rate.

Calibration may be performed using the ApplyYourself® app or one of the calibration methods outlined in the manual. After setting the pump, start the irrigation system and then switch the injection pump on. Verify proper operation by observing the discharge hose pulse and confirming product movement at the Mister Mist’r® bleeder. Periodically recheck operation during the irrigation cycle to ensure the system is injecting at the expected rate.

For shutdown, allow the pump to complete injection, then follow the post-operation and flushing procedures outlined in the Operating Manual. Proper maintenance and seasonal storage procedures are critical for long-term performance and reliability.

The product ships via UPS or FedEX ground in a dedicatd shipping carton designed to protect the system during transit.

Agri-Inject's e-commerce platform is intended to support and strengthen our dealer network, not replace it. When purchasing a system online, customers are asked to select a preferred Agri-Inject dealer from a list pre-sorted by proximity to their location. This ensures you have a knowledgeable local resource for installation guidance, parts, service, and ongoing support throughout the life of your system.
